Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Half Leg Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth legs for four to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles, hormones, and skin type. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and make hair finer. Schedule maintenance every four to six weeks for best results and consistent smoothness.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on first treatments, but our therapists use warm wax, quick technique, and pre/post-care to minimize pain. Exfoliating beforehand and taking a mild pain reliever thirty minutes prior can help. Sensitivity typically decreases with regular waxing.

Allow hair to be at least a quarter-inch long, avoid exfoliating or sun exposure for 24 to 48 hours beforehand, and ensure skin is clean and dry. Wear loose clothing to your appointment for comfort and easy aftercare.

Many sensitive skin clients can wax safely using gentle products and modified techniques. Inform your therapist of any conditions, medications, or recent procedures. For active infections, open wounds or certain medical treatments, we may recommend postponing until cleared by a dermatologist.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, vigorous exercise, and sun exposure for 24 to 48 hours. Apply a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer and gentle exfoliant starting 48 hours after to prevent ingrowns. Wear loose clothing and avoid heavy creams that can trap bacteria.

Pricing varies by location and technician; check our online menu or contact Restoration Beauty Spa for current rates. Appointments typically last 20 to 30 minutes, including consultation and post-care guidance. First-time visits may take slightly longer for comfort and skin assessment.
